Research

Jens' objective within HIGHERVIEW ist to research how rich media (e.g. video conferencing) can assist users in building trust. His research is based on the understanding that distant interaction - mediated through technology - poses higher needs for trust on the users.

Background

Prior to starting research for his PhD, Jens has received a BSc Information Management from UCL. He also holds a Diplom in Communication Sciences from the Berlin Unviersity of the Arts. He has worked on interface design and consumer trust with Amazon.de.
