What Next?

Now you have your character in Cal3D and PIAVCA, what can you do?

  1. Create animations in 3DSMax and export them (use File -> Export rather than the script for single files, and take the biped out of figure mode for animation export)
  2. Load each morph-target in 3DSMax and export the mesh (again using the File -> Export method rather than the script).
  3. Create a PIAVCA script which allows for the combination of animations and morphing.
  4. Import your characters into CVE applications such as XVR and DIVE. There is also Cal3D integration in OpenSG and OpenSceneGraph along with other opensource engines.
