3DSMax - 3/17

Tidying

Before going any further, the first thing to do is perform any tidying of the meshes.

A particular problem may be hair - for the purpose of Sydney, I need her eyes and face to not be obscured, so I will be her virtual hairdresser and chop some polygons away with the 'Editable Mesh' modifier.

When perfoming any task like this, it is a good idea to 'Freeze' adjacent meshes (in this case the face and eyes), so we don't select the faces on that as well.

Also, note that when drag-selecting, 3DSMax will select all faces under the mouse pointer regardless of visibility. Check 'Ignore backfacing' to reduce this.

However, remember that if you intend to use morph-targets with a certain mesh, that if you modify the number of verticies, this functionality will break.
