  1. Proposal from Robin Hirsch to invite Chris Walker to chair the meeting.

  4. Approval of minutes of the meeting of November 15th 2001.
  5. Notice of minutes of meeting between a delegation of students representatives and Robin Hirsch 29/11/01.

  7. General

  8. Web-based course evaluation forms.  Does anyone have any comments to give me on the way this new process went?  (Jill Saunders)
  9. The Joint Staff Student Committee.  College has asked us to make sure that the Departmental SSCC is aware of the existence and Terms of Reference of the JSSC.  The JSSC Terms of Reference are on our web pages at: http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/teaching/ug/sscc/Joint_Staff_Student_Committee.htm (Jill Saunders)

  10. Undergraduate Issues

  11. 1st year: none received
  12. Possibility of having more than two SSCC meetings a year (Susannah Moat)
  13. Worries about half of 2B13 - still no web access to hand outs and lack of practice questions (Susannah Moat)
  14. Second year tutorials.
  15. B46.  Any possibility of the provision of notes or a clear syllabus? (Susannah Moat)
  16. Room assignments should be made with consideration of the number of students (Mark Delacour)
  17. Not getting lecture notes until weeks into the course (Mark Delacour)
  18. More student meeting places, availability of rooms (Chris Davis)
  19. C++ - please can we be taught it (we know we can teach ourselves......) (Chris Davis)
  20. Coffee machine - great, but any chance of milk (small UHT pots) (Chris Davis)
  21. Print quotas - Don't seem to have had correct allocation given. Running out of printer quotas fast. The majority of the students are not prepared to pay around £15 for extra quota (Michael Kashi)

  23. Why do we have to pay for some notes but not for others, and why can't it be put on the internet and we can have the option of either printing them ourselves or buying them (3 courses in MScIT charged £5 and more for notes) (Lisa Pretorius)
