even, though no agreement that this would be desirable.

Request for more transferable skills (writing CVs, careers etc.) particularly
in final year, but it was pointed out that various web pages, seminars
etc. are available covering this.

A complaint that the CS with cog. sci. degree didn't give enough training
in CS, in particular that you could end up not knowing how to programme.
JW argued that this problem had been addressed in the new M.Sci. CS with
Cog. Sci. degree.

Our approach to programming was commended - few languages but in-depth.
Some were concerned that functional programming was written out of the
first year core.

Comments from questionnaires. Project deadline should be moved to
before the Easter Holidays. A request for more rigid deadlines. One student
didn't like the computer labs because of the lack of natural light and
the proximity of the toilets. There was a request for more journals in
DMS Watson library.
