Year 4 MEng Computer Science & MEng Computer Science (International Programme)
Students on the 4th year of the MEng Computer Science and MEng Computer Science International Programme carry out an individual project (credit value = 1), and 6 option modules (with a total credit weight = 3). The options should be from the range of CS year 4 (i.e. 'M' level) modules.
Students may take one option from the year 3 CS list or one elective from elsewhere in UCL (0.5 credit in total). Note that to graduate with an MEng you have to have completed and passed at least 3 credits at Masters' level. Taking non-M level options constitutes a risk if you fail any of the M level modules. If you want to take the maximum number of non-M level options you should discuss this with the 4th year tutor (Graham Roberts) first.
Details of option choices outside CS are maintained by other academic departments. If in doubt, check with the relevant department for availability, pre-requisites, and timetabling details.
