Year 3 MEng Computer Science

Students on the 3rd year of MEng Computer Science take the Practical Software Engineering group project (credit value = 1), 3 core modules (each with a credit value of 0.5) and 3 further options with a total credit value of 1.5. Students should normally select options from the range of CS year 3 modules to ensure adequate preparation for advanced study. However, students may choose one elective (non-CS/ non-specialisation option), which should be at an appropriate level. Note: if you choose COMP6006 Financial Computing, this will count as your elective (non-CS/ non-specialisation) module.

Details of option choices outside CS are maintained by other academic departments. If in doubt, check with the relevant department for availability, pre-requisites, and timetabling details.
