|Aims||To introduce students to research methods and guide them through writing a critical literature review of their chosen area.|

To be able to review and criticise the scienntific literature in an area. To be able to verbally present a critical review of a particular area in a concise organised form..|

Write and present a literature review associated with the summer project
Method of Instruction:
Lectures with associated practical classes. 5 personal meetings with project supervisors.
The course has the following assessment components:
- Literature Review (60%)
- Presentation (20%)
- Coursework 1 (10%)
- Coursework 2 (10%)
To pass this course, students must:
- Obtain an overall pass mark of 50% for all sections combined.
