MSc Financial Computing Syllabus

The programme comprises two terms of taught material, followed by exams and then a project undertaken with a financial service organisation such as an investment bank.

The project, which runs during the Summer, is assessed via a substantial dissertation submitted in the first week of September.

The basic element of the degree programme is compulsory and comprises the following courses:

Options

Two options are studied during the spring term. Normally these two options are chosen from the following list, but note that the list may change as more (or less) courses become available.

Summer Project and Dissertation

Normally late May to early September inclusive.

The individual project completes the programme. This will be a placement with your "host" financial institution.
