MSc CGVI Projects

Project Suggestions

Below is a list of supervisors with project suggestions for this year. You may also do a project on your own ideas, but you still need to find a supervisor. If you have ideas of your own for a project, try to find a supervisor whose interests match the project and go to discuss it with them.

To choose a project, contact a supervisor whose projects you are interested in and arrange to discuss it with them. Once you have chosen a project and agreed it with your supervisor, fill in the project registration form and send it to your supervisor, who will complete it and send it to me (Niloy Mitra).

It may also be possible to do your project work in another country under the study abroad program.

Project Preparation and Submission

Please make sure you read the guidelines on format and structure of MSc CGVI project reports.

Submission Instructions

This year, you will be asked to submit your report both online and in paper:

  • Submitting Online: The online submission will be in Moodle (exact details are to be determined)
  • Submitting the Printed Report: Two copies of the printed report will have to be submitted at the Department's reception. Please securely attach any CDs you are submitting with your report. Please bind your report (e.g., you can use UCLU's binding service).

Deadline

The submission deadline this year is:

12pm (noon) on September 4th, 2012

This is an absolute deadline. Extensions are only permitted in the most serious circumstances, such as illness or bereavement. If you think you will need an extension, talk to your supervisor as soon as possible, but note that extensions cannot be given by your supervisor, or by the Projects Organiser (Jan Kautz), but only by the Head of Department.
