Withdrawal of Study

Withdrawal of Study is for students who intend to leave UCL permanently prior to completing their course. Once they have withdrawn from a programme it is not possible for students to return to the programme at a later date without reapplying to the Admissions Office.

If a student wishes to withdraw from the PhD programme their supervisor needs to send an email to the Postgraduate Administrator stating that the student wishes to withdraw and giving their last date of attendance and reason for withdrawal. PG Admin will then forward this information to UCL Registry and Academic Services, who will close the student's record.
