Procedure for Termination of Studies
A student’s studies may be terminated on the grounds of academic insufficiency when overall performance is deemed to be unsatisfactory either due to attendance or production of required work, or both.
NB: This insufficiency must be deemed to be irretrievable: it must be neither realistic nor viable for them to continue with their studies for the remainder of the programme.
If you wish to terminate your student's studies you must inform the Postgraduate Administrators (postgradadmin@cs.ucl.ac.uk) and the Graduate Tutor (a.hunter@cs.ucl.ac.uk) in order to discuss the student's circumstances and how to proceed.
