Advertising
If you have a specific studentship that you wish to advertise, please in the first instance contact the Research Student Administrator, who has examples of previous adverts that you can use as a template, and will advise in the wording of application instructions.
As a basic guideline, all adverts should contain the following:
- Unique name of studentship to be quoted on the application form
- Description of project
- Funding available (check with Dawn Bailey)
- Any academic or residential eligibility requirements
- Closing date
Studentship adverts should be forwarded to the Research Student Administrator to check and arrange for them to be posted on the CS and UCL websites and Findaphd.com, and forward them to the appropriate final year and Masters student mailing lists - if you wish the advert to go to a specific set of students please let us know.
We also usually post adverts Jobs.ac.uk - there is a £160 charge for this so any project studentships should have this cost written into them.
If you wish the advert to be placed in a specific journal/paper then please negotiate this with the Research Student Administrator or the Deputy Departmental Manager. You will also need to let them know the account code that the cost of the adverts will come from.
