3006 Advanced Mathematical Methods- Lectures 2005

This course is in two parts. The first part is on mathematics (particularly linear algebra and calculus) and will be taught by Dr. Karen Page. The second part is on statistics and will be taught by Dr Simon Prince. There will be three hours of lectures and one hour-long examples class per week.

Notes for the statistics part of the course are available at Statistics notes and these are subject to revision and enhancement.
The maths part of a practice exam paper will be available towards the end of the course at Practice exam. There are three questions. In the actual exam you will have to answer one maths question, one stats question and a third question from either section. Thus you should expect to answer a question in just under 50 minutes.
