Dive 3.2 Online Version

The first version of the UCL Area demonstrator produced in early 1997. This formed one of several Business demonstrators that served to show how professional collaborative work could be performed in an online world. This has the following features: To run this demonstration online, you must install DIVE3.2 as a helper application to your web browser.

VRML Online Model

If you do not or can not run DIVE software, then you can look at the base model VRML in plain VRML1.0. We use VRML1.0 since at the time that the models were created, VRML97 exporters were not very stable. We still have a slight preference for VRML1.0 since we used diffuse colour and texture per vertex in some models.

Dive 3.3x Comprehensive Version

The comprehensive demonstrator incorporates all of the extensions made within the COVEN platform, and demonstrates scalability both in terms of the model and in the number of participants it supports.

An online version of this model is being prepared. Unfortunately some of the components in this version rely on licensed data, so can not be distributed. Also we use some Dive native code plugins.
