Description: The University of Skovde was founded in 1977 and is one of the smallest and youngest universities in Sweden. During a development period of more than ten years its Department of Computer Science has established a strong competence in both scope and depth. The department employees about 30 members of staff, most of which are active in both research and teaching. It offers a large number of courses and study programmes at both BSc and MSc levels.

The department is very active in research, covering areas such as information systems, requirements engineering, connectionism, distributed real time systems, object-orientation, reactive database systems, software Engineering and cognitive science.

A research group specifically dedicated to information systems and requirements engineering is currently under formation.

Name: Ms Anne Persson

Nationality: Swedish

Academic Qualifications & Experience: Ms Anne Persson is currently a teacher in Informations Systems in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Skovde, Sweden. Ms Persson has participated in the ESPRIT III project From Fuzzy to Formal (F3). She is currently running a research project following F3 together with Volvo in Sweden. Her research interests include information systems, requirements engineering and enterprise modelling methods.
