(an acronym standing for Software ENgineering Associates) is a Greek Information Technology Company, founded in 1993, by a number of British-Universities' alumni, specialising in the fields of Distribution, Development, and Support of CASE Tools Information Technology Consultancy and Integrated Solutions and Research and Development.

SENA employs ten full-time staff and a number of part-time collaborators. It has managed to acquire a significant position in the local industry as well as strong links with the european research community.

Development and Distribution of CASE Tools Activities: Our activities here are centred around two sectors:

Upper Case Tools. Our company undertakes the study of the requirements and consultancy for the optimum adaptation of a Methodology according to them. In addition, we can contribute in the selection of the most appropriate Support Tools for the selected Methodology.

Lower Case Tools. These include, not only support tools, such as Intelligent Checkers, Static and Dynamic Analysers, Configuration Management Systems but also tools that automate the Code Production Phase. Our activities here, apart from distribution, extend to the development of specialised tools for specific applications.

Integrated Solutions and Information Technology Consultancy Activities: The company assists in the formulation of a strategic plan for our clients as well as its implementation. We can undertake the market survey and the comparative evaluation of the products on offer for the selection of the ideal combination of Software, Methodologies and CASE Tools, Databases, System Software, Operating Systems, Networks and Hardware.

The company has participated several in R &TD projects, with the purpose of technology transfer, development of products of future commercial value and the maintenance of its staff at the edge of technology. In addition, it offers consultancy services to organisations who wish to participate in European Union-funded collaborative research. and participates in efforts for the development, improvement and implementation of standards.

Recent undertaken projects, include: (1) Tekton for Windows (a CAD environment for Architects and Civil Engineers, incorporating a large objects library, advanced user menu management and a fully integrated 3D rendering engine),(2) IASON (Hellenic Esprit Special Action, an Integrated Management and Resources Planning System for the Hellenic Aluminium Industry, integrating the low-level Shop-Floor control system, Production Management System and High-Level Financial, Accounting and Logistics Management Environment), (3) DIKAIO( a CD-ROM database of legal documents, providing a Full-Text Retrieval System), (4) Basket for Windows( an information management system allowing distributed data entry and production of high quality tv statistical titles), (4) Glossasoft (LRE 61003, production of guidelines, methods and tools for software internationalisation and localisation), and (5) Localisation of Unixware( development of the Greek version of Unixware for Pouliadis and Associates S.A. and marketing study for it).
