Ian Henning and Ian Leslie gave a brief outlines of the LEANERT and
Resarch on it that had been agreed betwqeen UCL, Cambridge, BT Labs,
and Essex - others in the URI are invited to consider using this as a
testbed....

	-Agent Technologies e.g. agent based oopen signaling
	-Java RMI/Object Serialization replacing CORBA
	-Measurement Based admission - replacing complex signaling
	- Active Networks - use of good CS principles
	- Scalable Multicast something new?
	- Policy languages
Areas for concentration:
	Scaling (automatic, self configuring procedures)
	Performance Extremes (from very hogh to very low loss, throughput,
	delay etc)
	Mobility (of application, service, user etc)
BT Requirements:
	Move from service to content?
	Pricing (combining channel and source pricing)?
	Limits to Adaption?

Cofnerence that we might have a Project Theme sessio nat - call/due
date will be march 1998-ish - we should target it with 5-6 papers, and
hope to get 3-4 in...
