Reading Weeks are the weeks beginning Monday, 06 November 2017 (Term 1, Week 7), and Monday, 12 February 2018 (Term 2, Week 25) for those departments that operate them.

4.3.UCL examination periods: 2017-18
Students will undertake a range of assessments throughout their programme. Typically, this includes a mixture of coursework and written examinations. Coursework is set during each term; the completion deadlines will be published via the Moodle page for the relevant module.
Examinations take place in the main examination period, which is in Term 3. Students should expect for their individual examination timetable to be published near the end of Term 2.

4.4.2.Reading Weeks at Computer Science
The department operates Reading Weeks in Week 11 (Term 1) and Week 25 (Term 2). During these weeks there is normally no timetabled Computer Science teaching, allowing time for completing coursework and self-study. If a module run by another department is taken, then that department’s reading week policy applies.
4.4.3.IEP Scenarios and Challenges
Students on the BSc/ MEng Computer Science will take part in Challenges (Year 1), Scenarios (Years 1 and 2) and 'How to Change the World' (Year 2). Details are available via the Engineering IEP website.
