Testimonials

Soon Hui Yee - BSc Computer Science
"As one of the top universities in the world, UCL was naturally my one and only choice. With the broad spectrum of subjects they have on offer, I knew that I would not only be learning subjects related to my degree, but also be allowed the opportunity to study other subjects such as philosophy, history and psychology as part of my optional courses.
Classes in the Malet Place Engineering Building are equipped with the latest teaching equipment, and the laboratories are filled with ample learning resources – there’s nothing more you could ask for, really. The same goes for the library; it has friendly staff, an easy-to-use self-service borrowing machine, a big computer cluster room and loads of books and references. Definitely first-class"

Raunak Gupta - MEng Computer Science
"From an early age, I enjoyed problem solving. I wanted to do something which utilised this skill, and Computer Science seemed like the perfect choice. What I really like about the programme is that each course is accompanied by lab sessions and problem classes, which helps clarify the material covered during lectures. The programme itself is quite flexible and opens up a lot of opportunities."

Aigul Abaganova - BSc Computer Science
"UCL is one of the world’s leading universities and is located in London allowing me to enjoy capital life. I like new technologies and tools and enjoy improving the processes and creating software that people find useful. That’s why I chose the computer science programme at UCL. I like that we study what we need and that this includes a lot of practical tasks and workshops. Once I graduate, I’d love to become a professional in this area."

Tim Bennett - MEng Computer Science
"I’ve always been good with technology and have the right mind-set for programming, so it was an easy choice for me really. I like the Computer Science BSc because it is challenging but also very rewarding to see your programs coming together. Also, it is a nice relaxed department with excellent facilities, and the extra help available and opportunities to get involved with the department are really good."
